Liberty Defence Lawyers is a specialist criminal defence law firm representing individuals accused of sexual offences across England and Wales. We provide expert legal advice and representation from the earliest stages of an investigation, including police station attendance, voluntary interviews, pre-charge engagement and defence throughout criminal proceedings.

Our team focuses exclusively on sexual offence defence, advising on matters including rape, serious sexual assault, historic allegations, indecent image offences, grooming allegations and position of trust accusations. With over 80 years of combined criminal defence experience, we offer clear, discreet and strategic advice tailored to each client’s individual circumstances.

We act nationwide from offices in London and Liverpool, and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for urgent enquiries and police station representation. Our work includes careful analysis of prosecution evidence, digital material, witness statements, forensic reports and expert evidence in order to build the strongest possible defence.

Liberty Defence Lawyers is committed to providing a calm, professional and non-judgemental service, with honest advice and complete transparency on costs at every stage. We aim to achieve the best possible outcome in every case, whether that means preventing matters from escalating, defending proceedings in court or mitigating where appropriate.
