Off Grid Warehouse was founded in 2009 by Steve Schanne in Woodbury, New Jersey. Originally launched as a solar installation company, the business quickly evolved as demand grew for high-quality preparedness gear. What began with solar panels soon expanded into a trusted source for survival essentials, tactical equipment, and emergency supplies.

Early success at trade shows led to a broader product lineup, including MREs, trauma kits, water purification systems, and tactical tools. That strategic shift transformed Off Grid Warehouse into a go-to destination for preppers, first responders, schools, and military professionals.
