Ramshield

Developed by Safe Direction, the RamShield® range of crash barriers is the latest innovation and advancement in guardrail barrier designs.

RamShield® barriers achieve controlled redirection of errant vehicles by regulating the force to release the guardrail beam throughout the impact zone, limiting dynamic deflection and allowing the post to collapse without tripping the vehicle.

A release tab achieves the separation of the guardrail during a vehicle collision. This allows the rail to disengage at an optimal load, facilitating safe vehicle containment and redirection.

The RamShield® designs use standard w-beam or three-beam guardrail and standard fasteners meaning there is minimal risk of inadvertent use of non-compliant items.
