They uprooted to Winnipeg in 1974, setting up shop at the corner of Waterloo and Corydon. New establishments in the Winnipeg area multiplied rapidly.

Santa Lucia Pizza’s commitment to tradition has been recognized by numerous awards bestowed upon it by Winnipeg residents, including “Best Pizza in Winnipeg” from Uptown Magazine, “Best Family Restaurant” from the Consumers’ Choice Awards, “Best Garlic Bread” from the Winnipeg Free Press, “Best Greek Salad” from the Winnipeg Tribune, and “Best Food Booth” from the Taste of Manitoba.
